One of the most thoughtful and understandable pieces of reasoning I have heard in recent times about the question of Scottish independence. Personally, I am so jaded by Scottish rancour that I would welcome their independence and revel in the problems that it will cause them from a long distance. I realise that it is a small minority of extremish Scots that hold this opinion, but they are a very vocal minority and it pushes my tolerance to the limits. My position on this clearly proves me a much less considered and reasoned person than J.K. Rowling.
