One winter in Colorado after a significant snow storm ET gets this great idea. He says we should tie a tarp to the back of his truck and pull each other around in the snow. We get a tarp and get his truck and He, his wife Tina, and I head out to have some fun in the snow. I was first up on the tarp. We tie the tarp off and I plant my rear on it. He and Tina are in the truck. We started off well enough. I dont know how fast ET was going and I was having fun but my foot caught some snow and I took about a pound of snow right to the face!!!!!!!! So I start waving my arms trying to get ET to stop so I could wipe the snow off my face. ET speeds up. My face was freezing and I wanted to stop but ET just keeps going faster. Now, we tied the tarp to the truck but at this point I was holding the rope. I decided I would just let go of the rope and roll off the tarp but when I let go of the rope I didnt really roll off the tarp like I planned. In fact I just fell back spread eagle and of course ET just speeds up. Finally I rolled off the back of the tarp but I was still sliding on the snow at a pretty good speed. I tried to put my feet down to stop myself but only managed to put myself into a tumble and down I went all the way to the bottom of the hill. Well, ET turns his truck around and comes back to see if Im all right. I said, Hey, why didnt you stop? I was waving my arms. He says, I thought you were waving your arms to go faster. and laughs, and everyone who knows ET knows the laugh Im talking about. I wont fail to mention the gratuitous, Your a dumb @$$ that also followed. I swear I think that was his favorite phrase to say to me.
