Bingham Complex Fire - Willamette National Forest. IMT 2 (Nickey). This complex of fires have been burning for close to 3 days and includes the Bingham Ridge fire. Five miles east of Marion Forks, OR. Burning in timber. Active fire behavior with torching and long fire runs were observed. Structures are currently threatened. 346 personnel. 538 acres and 61% containment. 11 crews, 1 engine and 6 helicopters. Logging Unit Fire - Warm Springs Agency, BIA. IMT 1 (Schulte). Twenty-six miles northwest of Warm Springs, OR. Burning in timber. 600 acres. No information on this fire at this time in terms of resources. Shaniko Butte Fire - Warm Springs Agency, BIA. IMT 2 (Williams). Fifteen miles north of Warm Springs, OR. Burning in juniper, brush and grass. Extreme fire behavior with 3-5 foot flame lengths in grass fuels. Fire is pushed by the winds torching of juniper trees observed. 12-20 foot flame lengths have been observed in brush. This fire has been wind driven and at times plume dominated. Structures threatened. Evacuations in effect. 453 personnel. 25,000 acres and 10% containment. 14 crews, 15 engines, 2 helicopters. 2 structures lost. Pittsburg Fire - Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. WA IMT 2 (B. Johnson). Twenty-two miles northwest of Riggins, ID. Burning in brush and grass on the Idaho side of the Snake River. Active fire behavior has been observed. Residences are threatened. 302 personnel. 8,000 acres and 5% containment. 9 crews, 8 engines. Hurricane Creek Fire - Wallowa-Whitman NF. Four miles southwest of Joseph, OR. Timber. Moderate fire behavior with spotting observed. Residences threatened. Eleven miles south of Fossil, OR. Fire is burning brush and grass. No containment date. Waterman Complex - John Day Unit, ODF. IMT 2 (Johnson) Twenty miles northeast of Mitchell, OR. Burning in Timber. Running, torching and spotting have been observed. Consists of the Bailey Butte Fire, Toney Butte Fire, And Junction Spring Fire. 726 total personnel. 6,040 acres and 35% containment. 23 crews, 24 engines, 5 helicopter. No containment date. Moderate fire behavior. 132 total personnel. 12,850 acres and 30% containment. 4 crews, 11 engines, 2 helicopters assigned. 3 structures lost. Bridge 99 Complex - Deschutes National Forest. IMT 2 (Fillis). Eighteen miles north of Sisters, OR. Comprised of two fires, the Bridge 99 Fire and Bear Butte 2 Fire. Active fire behavior with torching observed. Structures are threatened. Road closures are in effect. 418 personnel. 3,900 acres and 0% containment. 11 crews, 13 engines, 2 helicopters. No containment date. Moccasin Hill Fire - Klamath Unit, ODF - IMT Team 2 (Cline) assigned to fire last night. 4 miles north of Sprague River, OR. This fire has been burning and smoldering in the interior. Fire has been 100% lined around entire fire perimeter. A total of 35 structures and outbuildings have been lost. Mandatory evacuations have been lifted. The fire is 2,535 acres and 75% contained. 594 total personnel, 18 crews, 24 engines, 6 helicopters. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Estimated containment of 7/19. White River Fire - Dalles Unit, ODF - IMT Team 1 (Buckman).15 miles west of Maupin, OR. No new information.
