Oscar update (if you have a nervous or delicate stomach, please dont read! You have been warned) Monday morning, was woken at 5.30am by the tiny pitter patter of puppy paws, followed by a thumpty thump of a disjointed, uncoordinated puppy throwing himself down the stairs (he will work it out one day, I keep telling myself) And then the yacking noise of a puppy throwing up. After thinking thank god hes doing to downstairs on the laminate, I resigned myself to the fact Id have to clean it up, and did my own thumpty thump impression to downstairs to see the damage. Was presented with a lovely present which upon closer examination was made up of: A stone Half a fitbit flex bracelet - blue A cable tie A pop sock!!! Better out than in, I thought as I dutifully cleaned it up, watched by a thoughtful looking Oscar who obviously felt loads better as he tried to wrestle the cloth out of my hands. Fast forward to Monday night, where said puppy decides to go for a poo in the front garden. At least it was my front garden, I muttered to myself as I go and be a good dog owner and pick it up. But......something doesnt feel right. Dog poo shouldnt weigh a ton, have an angular feel to it, or feel this solid. Im afraid to say, donning extra layers of plastic bags on each hand I discovered hed managed to poo out two bloody great stones, obviously picked up from the garden. And today I come home to the comment from MrC of if he starts to grow a pair of boobs, I know why Dear adorable, cute as a button, butter wouldnt melt puppy, had managed to consume a packet of my HRT. What am I going to do with him?!?! At least hes less likely to get osteoarthritis in later life now.........
