Our Crane Concierge received this query recently. Care to share your thoughts? I am using a correspondence card and a lined envelope. The envelope lining only covers the address side of the envelope and the top of the fold. When I place the correspondence card in the envelope with the face (and writing) toward the fold side of the envelope the writing appears through the envelope. What is the proper way of placing a correspondence card in this type of envelope? It seems odd that the blank side of the card is covered by the lining while the written side is visible through the envelope.
