Our Food Donor of the Week is Insalatas Restaurant in San Anselmo. Since 1996 Insalatas has been making healthy, delicious, Mediterranean-inspired food for the Marin community, not only in their lovely restaurant (recipient of a recent Michelin Bib Gourmand award) but through their marvelous takeout counter and their terrific catering program. Week-in and week-out, Insalatas has been *making* extra food for us through our Planned Giving program. In that program, we ask restaurants, caterers, and other food-service establishments to make a little extra of something for us to pick up and deliver to one of our 46 nonprofit recipients.
