Our Mayor, Mr Robert Johnson was so kind to pick me up from the Nursing Home Saturday afternoon & brought me to the second(?) Annual Community Christmas Dinner at the Alumni Hall. I was happy to see good friends, eat great food, and hear the very talented & inspiring string & vocal band, the Peacemakers. The gorgeous decorations were done by Tommy of Mumsys fame, and the great dinner was prepared by the Baptist Church, who also did the serving, organizing & the cleaning up. Many different women made the desserts. I had the first great time that Ive had in a long time, especially when I was listening to the heart-strings pulling, wonderful band.
