Our condolences please for Peter Baker, and Conny Viol following the sad news of Derrick who I met only a few times and now recalling, with the sad news of his passing over for what I know as the return home, the profound impact this great man made. I feel that Derrick would wish me to encourage any readers, even if you have been distant or had harsh words, to let your friends and loved ones know with a strong lingering embrace how much you really love them. Words are only momentary but a hug is for life. People may not remember what you said but they will remember how you made them feel, so make them feel good this day. I close by thanking Derrick for welcoming me into his home, and for inspiring me today.
