Our dedication to Sgt. Horner went well. I have to tell you, it felt good to stop business for this. We let our customers know what was going to happen and invited them to wait for the 5 minutes it would take or to join us. Most joined us. We even stopped answering the phone. This cessation helped underscore that there is a time for everything and a need to change focus, if only briefly, so that we could honor this person we dont know who died on our behalf and for a ideal. The break allowed us to experience gratitude, patriotism, history. It felt good and right. Reading the short bio of Sgt. Horner helped us to understand him as a neighbor and a man we wanted to know and honor. We are separated from the sacrifice our warriors make daily. This small act created a brief bridge for us. I think well continue to do this while it makes sense to. If you are in the area on a Friday just before noon, please stop in and sing with us. If you would like us to dedicate an anthem to a fallen soldier (from any branch of the military), please sent the information to me at warrentonbread@gmail. It would be a true privilege to honor him or her. - Pablo
