Our next major event is Round 3 of the 2014 British Superbike Championship on 13-15 June. Were delighted to announce that the legendary B17 Flying Fortress will be performing a 10 minute display in the build-up to the first race on the Sunday. Snetterton was used as a US Army Air Force base during the second World War and was home to the famed 96th Bombardment Group. Using the B17, the group participated in 321 missions and sustained some of the highest loss rates of the United States Army Air Force. The display will also form part of a tribute to Simon Andrews, who recently passed away following a crash at the North West 200 Road Race. He was synonymous in the MCE British Superbike Championship with the racing number 17 and raced with the RAF Reserves Honda squad this season. For more details click here:
