Out of everything thats happened over the last few days Im reminded of how blessed I am to have such amazing children and Im cherishing the relationships Ive built with them more today than ever... We are all feeling the deep sting of violation to our security.. But the way my kids are leaning on me is revealing to me how much faith and trust they have in me that i will make it all ok and in the end better than ever. They are being open and honest about how they feel knowing that the comfort they are seeking will be solely provided by me. It makes me feel better about my role as their mother that I have and am doing something right amongst my emotions of feeling like Ive let them down and failed them by allowing their safe place to be striped away from them.. I love them to Pluto and back... And discovering everyday the strength in the bond between mother and child.
