Over the years I have been introduced to a lot of different types of pull-up exercise (as if normal pull-ups werent tough enough!). One variation that is very hard for me are called the Corn Cob Pull-up. What makes this exercise so challenging is not only are you pulling your body weight up as you would in a normal pull-up, but youre also holding your body weight up while shifting your body weight to the left and right and then away from the bar, thus shifting the focus of your back muscles being used. These are killer pull-ups but work your back muscles like no other!
