Over the years, I have watched enough Law & Order episodes, especially the SVU spinoff series, that I think I can make a fair comment on them. To narrow my criticism further, let us only look at L&O: SVU. The story always begins with a horrific crime. The story always goes through suspects and close relations, and then they find the perpetrator. I have yet to see an episode where the perpetrator is not of European descent. This cannot be a realistic view of crime and justice in New York City. I doubt if all of the crimes are committed by white people. And like I said initially, I am a casual viewer. I have not watched the series front to back and otherwise. But I have seen many episodes, and the perpetrator is always white, and nine times out of ten, he is male. So I checked out Dick Wolf. I found out he is a half Irish and half Jewish. So he is white. And he is, actually, a male. He must think himself guilty of the worst conceivable crimes. I am made glad and thankful that I am not Dick Wolf.
