PART-TIME MEMBER OF STAFF REQUIRED We are looking to take on a member of staff to assist us with our growing business. Although customer service and good personal skills are a must a considerable part of the role will be IT based and so excellent IT skills are essential. Our demanding Internet business requires the candidate to be very comfortable with email (Outlook Express), MS Office and competent in learning our in-house web administration site and linked EPOS system. The role will cover all aspects of our “behind the scenes” activity of packing orders, booking couriers, data entry to our website, downloading and resizing photographs for the web site, setting up customer accounts, dealing with telephone enquiries, email and general office tasks. At times the candidate will also be required to serve customers, allocate and price stock and maybe even vacuum and dust the shop! This is a great opportunity for someone to have a varied role. There is very little sitting at “All Things Cute” at busy times the pressure is on so the candidate will be expected to be quick and efficient but also calm and collected! The candidate will be working alongside the business owners Claire and Nicola and their existing small team. Claire and Nicola are sisters and there is very much a family and friendly atmosphere here. Previous Experience Previous retail experience is not essential but we are looking for someone who has strong IT and office skills and has experience of working in a varied and demanding role. Hours Tuesday 10.00am –1.00pm* Thursday 10.00am – 1.00pm* *Additional hours in the week are available at busy times of the year and occasional Saturdays. These hours are flexible and could be adjusted to allow for school pick up etc if required. We would also consider a term only arrangement, or alternative hours in school holidays.
