PASTOR CHRIS MONDAY, MARCH 31ST HE GIVES MORE ABILITY! A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. Proverbs 24:5 The Hebrew word translated strength in the opening verse is kôach; its also translated ability or power in several other places in the Scriptures. For example, in Isaiah 40:29, the same Hebrew word is translated power: He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. This means God gives more ability or strength to the weak. Proverbs 24:5 tells us that a man of knowledge increases ability. That means through the knowledge of Gods Word, you multiply your abilities; you discover that theres so much more you can do. God gives us responsibilities according to the abilities that Hes given to us. Therefore, no matter what you do, theres divine ability working in you; however, youll never be able to do beyond the ability of God thats working in you! You cant do more than He has graced you for. Therere people who have the ability to run a business, and handle money in multiplied millions. Some have the ability to run a mid-scale business, while some others can only operate on a small scale. In the area of leadership its the same thing; you can only lead to the extent of the ability granted you by God. Therere people who can only run their own biological family; outside of that, they cant lead anybody else. Therere those who can run a whole city, and therere those who can run a whole nation; it all depends on the ability that God gives to you. Now, what God does for you when He wants to upgrade your life is to increase your ability; your capacity to do more. James 4:6 says But he giveth more grace.... He gives you more grace, and grace, amongst other blessings, brings abilities into your life because He desires to accomplish more through you. He makes you more efficient, such that with the same efforts you used to put in, youd produce greater results. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the knowledge of your Word in my spirit, causing my abilities to increase. Im energized to do all things, being sufficient in your sufficiency. I recognize the working of your power in me to accomplish everything youve ordained for me to do today, excellently, in Jesus Name. Amen.
