PATH Outreach Work Retention Support (POWRS) Worker (Part time, 2 days/week (0.4 WTE); fixed term until May 2014) Main responsibilities include: Liaising with community partners to recruit learners aged 16 to 24 Delivering and developing flexible employability training for learners aged 16 to 24, to include curriculum delivery and access to placements leading to employment Managing and maintaining documentation in line with Service standards, Quality Assurance procedures and contract requirements Providing intensive support to learners aged 16 to 24 and gaining input from specialist providers to address specific issues You will have experience of managing a case load of learners, in particular aged 16 to 24, assessing their needs and providing additional support into employment. The ability to develop and deliver appropriate training, develop and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders and assist in developing leaner work experience placements is essential. Additionally, you will have experience of assessing learner needs, and hold a Level 3 IAG qualification and either hold or be working towards a relevant teaching/training qualification. Excellent Microsoft Office IT skills are essential, as is a flexible, adaptable and innovative approach. The project is funded by the Big Lottery Fund which commenced in June 2011 for 3 years.
