PAWS Alumni Update! Shay and Severide (now Lola and Fenix) were confiscated by the city pound after surviving a fire. These two Shar Peis were young and under socialized. Since they had survived a very traumatic experience together and were brother and sister, we wanted them to be adopted together and remain a family. It was a challenge at first finding the right adopter who could provide the right environment for these two pups, but in the end they found the perfect home! They are both very sweet. Lola is a social butterfly and plays well with other dogs. Fenix is a bit rough around the edges and can get jealous so we are still working on socializing him but he is coming around. The trainer was impressed with his advancement in this matter. They are healthy and eat well. They have lots of play time outdoors in our big back yard. They have had many visitors of family and friends - they love people! They have gained some weight especially Fenix since he is still growing but Lola we think is as big as she will most likely get. We feel very blessed to have found them or maybe they found us! They have brought a lot of joy to our home and they are so much fun! Hope you like the pictures Ive attached here.
