Holton, of Indian Shores, is the president of Holton Companies and previously served as chairman of the Florida Transportation Commission, JAY MADARA AND SHAWN MICHAEL SCHEERINGA have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Central Florida Expressway Authority. Madara, of Windermere, is chief financial officer of The Golf Channel. Scheeringa, of Windermere, is president and chief executive officer of BBA Aviation Flight Support. DAN CASPER, ELLIS HUNT JR. AND MARTIN MCKENNA have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Citrus Commission. Casper, of Fort Myers, is the vice president of procurement, sales, and marketing for Southern Gardens Citrus. Hunt, of Babson Park, is the president of Hunt Brothers Inc. McKenna, of Sebring, is the owner of McKenna Associates Citrus Inc. ANGELA COX has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as a judge in the 4th Judicial Circuit, which includes Duval, Clay and Nassau counties. Cox, of Jacksonville, has served as a Duval County judge since 2005. CHRIS FINKBEINER has joined The Rubin Group governmental-affairs firm. Finkbeiner most recently served as policy director for Governor Rick Scotts re-election campaign, and previously worked as a deputy chief of staff and director of policy in the governors office. TONY CRAPP JR. has joined the governmental-affairs firm Ballard Partners. Crapp, who will be a partner in the firms Miami office, is managing partner at PC & Associates of South Florida and previously worked as Miami city manager. KATIE BALLARD will form the finance-consulting and legislative-advocacy firm K. Ballard Consulting, in January. Ballard, director of legislative affairs for the Florida Medical Association, has held campaign and staff positions with state Rep. Bill Hager, R-Boca Raton, former U.S. Sen. George LeMieux, R-Fla., and U.S. Rep. Tom Rooney, R-Fla. KYLE HUDSON, HANNAH SUMNER CAUSSEAUX AND DANIEL RYALS III have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Chipola College District Board of Trustees. Hudson, of Westville, is the Holmes County clerk of the circuit court. Causseaux, of Bristol, is a former director of appointments in the governors office. Ryals, of Blountstown, is a real-estate broker and chairman of the Calhoun County School Board. JULIAN ED FOUCHE has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. Fouché, of Windermere, is a retired senior vice president for Disney Destinations. JOHN GARCIA has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Tampa-Hillsborough County Expressway Authority. Garcia, of Tampa, is president and chief executive officer of World Wide Medical Services Inc. ALLEN JONES has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Indian River County Hospital District Board of Trustees. Jones, of Vero Beach, is a retired senior executive of Merrill Lynch. JOSH ALTMAN has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Hamilton County Memorial Hospital Board. Altman, of Jennings, is the owner and manager of Jasper Auto Supply. RICHARD TOPPINO, AARON CASTILLO SR. AND CAREY GOODMAN have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Monroe County Housing Authority. Toppino, of Key West, is the treasurer of Charles Toppino & Sons and vice president of Monroe Concrete Products. Castillo, of Key West, is a funeral director at Florida Keys Funeral Services.
