PET scan results came from Dr. at 7am this morning and not what we were hoping for...the spot on my liver lit up as well as my right axillary gland where my surgery took place. So what does this mean, it means that my Dr is sending all my info & results to NCI Bethesda for their input and recommendations. We still dont know definitively that it is metastatic disease or just an abscess in my liver and possibly a pocket of fluid from surgery. My Dr. doesnt want to start sticking biopsy needles in me until he has their input which is fine with me I really dont want to have a liver biopsy at all!!! It is strange that the chemo hasnt shrunk it so that can mean that then cancer is resistant to the chemo or that it isnt cancer at all! I am going with not cancer at all!! :) I feel like all I have done for the past six months is ask for your prayers and support but here I am again! I appreciate all of you so much! I am so thankful Denzel is here with me and after I had a little melt down this morning he has me back on track and we are ready to face whatever comes. Our 6th anniversary is tomorrow and I thank God for him and our life everyday~today is a perfect example of why I am so thankful.
