PHC for Penny! This ones quite long. I kind of got in to it :) Ship name... Frenny! (please no more PHC requests, I will do all that previously asked, but my trial periods almost over and i will not have time to do any more than I already have to do) Penny sat in the Gryffindor common room catching up on homework. Christmas break had just begun, and the school was incredibly empty. She had chosen not to go home that year because her rather cruel professor Snape had given her a detention in the middle of break, and threatened to fail her if she did not attend. Nearly headless Nick strolled past her. “Good evening, Penny,” he said with a smile on his face, as usual. “Hello Nicholas!” Said Penny. Nearly headless Nick walked into the small fire in the hearth, distinguishing it. Penny sighed. What a holiday, she thought to herself. Suddenly, she heard people entering the common room. She turned and saw four of the Weasley children walk in with Harry. Penny had been friends with them for an awful long time, maybe this Christmas wouldn’t be so bad if she could spend it with them. She especially liked Fred, him and George were the only ones in her year and had always been her friend. “Hello, Penny!” Said Harry, clutching hands with Ginny. “I would have thought you went home for break.” “I had plans to, but Snape gave me detention and threatened to fail me if I didn’t go. You see, this is my fifth detention this semester and apparently, I can’t miss another,” said Penny. Fred grimaced “I’m sorry, Penny. Unfortunately we’re all going home tomorrow afternoon. We were going to leave tonight, but missed the train.” Penny sighed. She really would be alone for Christmas. Fred noticed her despair. “Come with me,” he said. “We’re going to change this detention of yours. Harry, may I borrow your cloak?” “Umm, sure,” said Harry. “Fantastic! I know just what we’ll do. Come along, Penny,” said Fred. He grabbed her hand and pulled her under the cloak. The couple walked out of the common room down to the dungeon where Snape slept. “Alohamora,” whispered Fred. A small click was heard from the door. The two noticed a large bed, where Snape was obviously sound asleep. Fred pulled something out of his pocket. One of his candies from the joke shop that him and his brother planned on opening after graduation. He placed it into Snapes open mouth, and the couple silently walked out of the room. They sprinted back into the common room, which was now uninhabited. “What was that?” Asked Penny. “Sleeping drop,” said Fred. “Makes whoever use it stay asleep for one week. Snape will never know you missed his detention.” “What about my parents? Asked Penny. “They will be upset knowing that I’m missing detention, I’ve already skipped so many.” “Well, why don’t you just come and spend Christmas with me then. My parents won’t mind. I’ve told them all about you. They know you as the pretty brown eyed girl in my house, Fred winked at her I was meaning to tell you a while ago, but I’ve had a massive crush on you since first year,” said Fred, his cheeks contracted a slight blush. Penny was touched. She had always had a crush on Fred too. “Fred, there is nothing I would like more,” Said Penny. She cupped his chin and pulled him in to her so their lips met in a tender kiss.
