PIA-3/PAMPANGA: The City Government of San Fernando has set its annual Alay Lakad or Walk for a Cause 2013 on November 22. During a press conference and turn-over of the walk for a cause banner to the 2013 executive committee chaired by private sector representative Engr. Emer Feliciano at Heroes Hall, it was disclosed that the Alay Lakad Foundation is looking at once again raising some P500,000 in donations in attempt to support more scholars and livelihood projects for the youth under the program. "With pride and gratitude, we announce that the Alay Lakad 2013 is set on November 22, with the aim of supporting more underprivileged youth. It also advocates poverty alleviation through distribution of educational scholarship grants to deserving individuals," said Mayor Edwin Santiago.
