PIKEY UPDATE for all you lovely people who sent kind wishes. Weve just got home having transferred her up to the specialist surgical vets in Somerset. Shes been slower than expected getting over the surgery & the worry was she might have an infection or leak from her gut wound. Fortunately all seems well & its likely just her age thats slowing her down (dont tell her that!) but shes in the right place should anything go awry. And I got to cuddle her for the two hour journey so that helped us both! Thank you all for the lovely messages, Pikey really appreciates them :-) xxx
