PK welcomes Gene Kimmelman as our new President and CEO! Kimmelman brings a lifetime of experience as a public interest advocate, antitrust expert, and leader in the communications and technology advocacy community. After almost thirty years as a public interest advocate, Kimmelman joined the Department of Justices antitrust division as Chief Counsel. Since leaving the Department of Justice, Kimmelman has been serving as the Director of the Internet Freedom and Human Rights project at the New America Foundation. We are excited for such a renowned leader to head our organization as we continue to serve as a voice for the public interest during an active time in Internet and telecommunications policy!
