Appointed 17 October 2006. John Borshoff Managing Director, Paladin Energy Ltd. John Borshoff is Managing Director of Paladin Resources Ltd, which he founded in 1994. Paladin has a primary focus on uranium having acquired a portfolio of advanced uranium projects in Southern Africa and Australia between 1998 and 2002. Mr Borshoff is a geologist who has been involved in the Australian exploration and mining industry for over 30 years. Most of this time has been spent on uranium exploration and project development in Australia and Africa. He worked for International Nickel and Canadian Superior Mining prior to joining Uranerz Australia. John became Chief Geologist/Exploration Manager during the period 1981-1986 and served as its Australian Chief Executive from 1987 until 1991, when the German parent of Uranerz made the decision to close its local operations.In April 1994 Mr Borshoff was instrumental in the assembly, design and development of a resource project portfolio to form the basis for the public listing of Paladin. Darryl Cuzzubbo President Olympic Dam, BHP Billiton Darryl has 22 years’ experience within BHP Billiton working predominantly across the Steel and Coal businesses in a variety of roles including senior operational and project roles. Born in Australia, he holds an engineering degree from the University of Queensland, a Masters of Science Honours degree and an MBA from the University of Wollongong. Darryl began his career as a Mechanical Engineer in Illawarra Coal, NSW, in 1991. In 1994, he moved to the Port Kembla Steelworks before moving back to Illawarra Coal holding various positions across different operations. In 200, Darryl was appointed to lead the establishment of a new underground mine, Dendrobioum, as Project Director. His role was expanded taking on the role of VP Operations for Illawarra Coal prior to moving internationally to BHP Billiton Energy Coal South Africa (BECSA) in May 2004 as VP Business Improvement. In March 2005, he was appointed VP Operations covering teh majority of BECSA’s coal assets. Kuzma is a chemical engineer with a master’s degree in business leadership and 25 years resources industry experience in mine operations, project management and strategic planning. Kuzma began his working career as a metallurgist with Rand Mines. He joined Anglovaal Mining in 1995 where he held various positions including Mine Manager, Consulting Metallurgist and Manager Strategy. He joined Uranium One in 2007 and has overall management responsibility for all operations, projects and exploration in Australia. Appointed 5 September 2009, representing Uranium One. Brian Reilly Managing Director, Cameco Australia Pty Ltd. Brian Reilly has oversight of Cameco Australia operations including the Kintyre Project in East Pilbara, Western Australia. He has more than 25 years experience in exploration, project development and management of mining companies in Canada and overseas, including more than 15 years experience in the uranium industry. Brian has a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from St Francis Xavier, a Masters Degree in Geology from Brock University and an MBA from the University of Saskatchewan. Brian is responsible for developing Cameco’s presence in Australia and overseeing the development of mining and exploration projects. He will continue to build successful relationships with key stakeholders, including indigenous groups, government agencies and industry associations. Julian Tapp Chief Executive Officer, Energy and Minerals Australia Limited Julian Tapp is CEO and an Executive Director of Energy and Minerals Australia (EMA) which he joined in March 2013. Immediately prior to joining EMA, Julian worked in the iron ore industry having joined FMG in its early days back in 2004 and having held various Senior Executive roles covering matters such as Government Relations, Approvals and Infrastructure Access matters. Ian (Joe) Potter AREVA Resources Australia Pty Ltd Joe has over 20 years experience in the resources sector, spanning multiple commodities across several continents. During this time Joe has undertaken various exploration roles within major miners; CRAE/Riotinto Exploration and AREVA and several mid-tier miners and junior consortiums. Joe also spent three years consulting in the indigenous affairs aspects of land access for resource and infrastructure projects across Australia from 2003. More recently and prior to returning to Australia to head-up AREVA’s Australian uranium exploration in 2011, he spent almost 3 years in AREVA’s head office in France working closely with the uranium exploration and business development teams of the Australia-Pacific Region. Appointed 8 February 2012 representing AREVA Resources Australia Pty Ltd Dr Vanessa Guthrie Managing Director, Toro Energy Ltd Vanessa has an extensive background in the mining and resources sector, spanning environment and carbon strategies, community and indigenous affairs, company secretarial and corporate development, government approvals and operations of mining and refining operations in uranium, gold, nickel, bauxite, oil, gas and base metals. Vanessa has worked in various roles in major mining companies, small to medium and private equity enterprises.
