**PLEASE READ & SHARE** If you have installed the Facebook Messenger app on your smart phone or device, uninstall it ASAP. If you read the terms prior to installing, this app will have access to your mic, gives Facebook access to find accounts on the device, read contacts, access the user’s, as well as edit, read and receive text messages, the ability to directly call phone numbers, modify or delete files on USB storage, take pictures and videos, record audio, download files without notification, control vibration and change network connectivity, and so on. Facebook app, unfortunately, will not allow you to read or respond to Facebook messages directly from the app so you are forced to download Facebook messenger. You can go around this by simply using your laptop or computer to access your messages, or log in to Facebook using Safari, Chrome, Explorer or any other internet browser your device has, to read and respond to your messages.
