TO ALL MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS.... Over the years I have managed to raise well over £15,000 for LOCAL charities with my charity auctions... The manageress at Brierley Social club Tracy Lucas has asked me if I would like the use of the club this year to hold another one and seeing as I havent done one for a few years I thought that now is the right time. I always hold my events for the local community rather than national charities and it gives me great pleasure in announcing that this particular auction will be in aid of Brierley Cubs Junior Football Club and the Brierley Free Spirit cheerleaders whose leaders together provide facilities for approximately 100 local children .. a credit to u all may I add.... I have decide this year to tie the auction together with a Halloween theme and hold it on Friday 31st October with the auction starting about 8.30pm. There will also be a First, second and third prize fancy dress competition with the prize money very kindly donated by the club manageress Tracy rather than biting into the funds we raise on the night.... There will also be games of Last card winner, spin the wheel, raffle and others... It is at this point that I would like to appeal to you if you can donate any item of auctionable value it would be greatly appreciated as this will probably be my last auction before I die I want to make it the best yet... The most I have ever raised in one night is over £1,200 and I would love to beat that with your help... A little later I will also be asking for volunteers to sell raffle tickets before the event to give us a good start.. This will be once I have sorted the prizes out ... Whether you can donate an item for auction, sell a raffle ticket or not please feel free to come along on the night and support our local children.. Please remember the children come from all around the local district and not just Brierley....
