********POLL:******** WHATS YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS HORRIFIC TRAGEDY? (I cant in all good conscience call it an accident)... After last night at Canandaigua, should Tony Stewart be driving in todays NASCAR race, AND should he even be allowed to drive again, ever?? I understand that the kid was pissed and shouldnt have been out of the car and on the track like that, but #1, there was a yellow light, and #2, the driver in front of Stewart swerved and avoided him, and Stewart looked like he wanted to near-miss him as a scare tactic.....Out of respect for Kevin Ward, every driver that ever raced a car, every pit man that turned a wrench on a race car, and every fan that ever watched a race, I wont post the video. MY OPINION: Tony Stewart should be banned from racing forever. Maybe a rookie driver with no experience may not have seen him, but Im sure Stewart knew he spun the kid out, and knew the kid was on the track...in a caution he should have been going SLOW enough to avoid any situation right at the crash site, and his eyes should have been on the crash site for debris, people, or anything else out of the normal ..It looked like he was trying to scare the kid, and tell him not to mess with a Pro NASCAR big gun to me, and a terrible accident happened. He should be held responsible, its the same as if a Professional Sharpshooter aimed his gun at another sharpshooter, pulled the trigger, and thought the gun was empty. That car is as lethal a weapon as a loaded gun, and hes a supposedly professional driver that should always consider safety first.
