POOR MANS MEAT When my husband says hes hungry, And he cant think of a thing to eat, I just get out my frying pan, And cook him, Poor mans meat. I put an onion in with the meat, Then I stir in a little flour, I slice a few potatoes up, And its ready in half an hour. Poor mans meat is a daily food, When its put between some bread, It has saved many a starving man, From dropping over dead. Poor mans meat comes by the pound, In a chunk, or by the slice, You can grind it with some pickles, And add a little spice. Poor mans meat is a wonder food, Because, its never very bony, I always have it in my fridge I call it plain Baloney. ~Rose O;dford Pestrue~ 6/94
