* * * * * * * * PRAYER REQUEST * * * * * * * * (the following prayer request is from Bo) The following letter is from one of my most cherished friends that I have known for 30+ years. She found that she had stage 1 cancer and they removed it and in doing so found out that it had moved to her bowel, which in turn brought it up to stage 3 cancer. She will be aggressively hitting this head on for the next year. Please keep her in your prayers. Her name is Jonnet. Thanks for your prayers, Bo ********************************************* Thursday, July 11th, I will go to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach and have my 2 chemo ports implanted. One will be put under my left clavicle and one under my right ribs. From there I will go across the street to my doctors office and start my first chemo treatment. I will have one type of chemo injected straight into my blood stream through the port under my clavicle. I will, at the same time have chemo injected directly into my abdomen through the port under my ribs. A round of chemo for me is three weeks of treatment, one time per week. I will be receiving both types of chemo the first week, the second and third week of each round will only be into the blood stream. We will do this fir 18 weeks and then test to see how it is working. So, tomorrow there will be a huge change to my life and I am standing on the word of God to get me through this challenge.
