PREPAREDNESS All those New Year’s resolutions to make – or not! There’s one you can make that won’t mean a daily commitment and, therefore, possibly easier to keep. The beginning of a new year is a good time to take an inventory of your insurance and other personal holdings and accounts. Review your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance policy and make sure it is up to date and covers what it needs to cover. Have you made major changes to your home? Do you need to increase or decrease the deductible amount? What damages are covered? Once you have reviewed and made necessary adjustments, make sure that you put the updated copy with your other important papers in the emergency kit. CERT classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 21. If you want to become a member of the community emergency response team, plan on attending the classes. Contact us today!
