Packer Poem by dear Clare Miller-Wood.... Packers 13 Eagles 27 To Packer Fans, (plus a few who are not), today the team just couldnt get hot! First Seneca Wallace tried to take charge, but soon he was tossed around as if he was on a big barge. It turns out that he suffered a hit that took him out, now is there a quarterback for whom the fans can shout??? Scott Tolsien was the guy who then came in to play, and he really tried to take charge of Green Bay. But since he hadnt played at Lambeau before, it was very hard for him to throw and make a score. Players were slowly getting up after each play, which didnt bode well for this team from Green Bay! Even tho Clay Matthews was now back, even he had trouble making a sack, And with that big club on his bad thumb, Ill bet that he felt like he looked really dumb! Jordy Nelson sure really hard to score, but even he needed to do more. Poor Mason Crosby missed several kicks, and for a while, he looked like he was in another fix! But just before the first half was done, he kicked a ball that was a really good one! So with 3 points finally on the board, the Packers had actually been lucky, and scored! After the half when the teams came back, an interception the Eagles ability sure didnt lack, And very soon they made another score, which meant they were ahead by 14 points more! Soon a field goal they also made too----oh, what in the world can the Packers do???? Suddenly, Tolzien threw a nice ball, which was caught by Bostick (?) who made a real nice haul. So now the score was Eagles 20 to the Packers 10, but my gosh, those Eagles got ahead more when, Another TD that team did make, which meant the Packers now nothing could fake. Soon more fellows were not getting up from the field, but still those Eagles just wouldnt to the Packers yield! And after the Pack made another field goal, those Wild Birds wouldnt let even Lacy get thru a little hole. By the 4th quarter, things were just so sad, with no more scores made by even one Packer lad! Even John Kuhn couldnt made a score, and then Jordy Nelson tried once more. But the ref said it was Incomplete, cause outside the line went his feet. Now nearly gone was all the time, and its with much sadness I have to finish this rhyme! Another loss for the Green and Gold, now dont you think this is getting real old? Im sad for all the guys on the team, for they really are trying hard it does seem. But maybe next Sunday when they play at night, against the Giants in New York, theyll win that fight. So lets not give up on our Pack, but hope and pray that theyll be able to come back! For now, all that I am able to say is, Please Dear Lord, give help to our team from Green Bay! With Aaron Rodgers gone for an indefinite while, its really getting nearly impossible to wear a smile! So many players who are out and cant play, makes these games very hard for the Bay. Thus another day without wearing a grin, all because the Pack didnt this football game win! I hope you and yours are all doing well, and also that this team, soon gets out of this H--L!!! Its only a game, but still I feel bad, and hope my language doesnt make anyone mad! Clare
