Patriotism! A roadmap to greatness Dear FASSAites, I cannot but salute the commitment and love displayed during the unsuccessful election held last Friday. This of course signals a worthy beginning of better things to come in FASSA, because the level of turnout is such that is unprecedented in the history of FASSA. You are indeed appreciated. What has happened is a clarion call, a test of our loyalty and most importantly a step of a thousand miles to be covered. I want to beseech all and sundry that we should not let this dampen our morale or weaken our unrelenting spirit to ensuring our participation come anytime the election is rescheduled. This is an event that will make a significant part of our history, because it is time for that change we long craved for. And it is often said that nothing good has ever come easy and nothing that’s worthwhile is ever easy. Your decisions regarding this ugly electoral negligence is highly pivotal and significant to this elections, it will either make or mar our collective effort in repositioning FASSA for better. But I strongly believe that your decision over this will be born out of your in-depth love, loyalty and commitment to FASSA’s growth and development. I want to finally reiterate my commitment to the good people of FASSA that I will ensure that their labour is not going to be in vain. All your unrelenting efforts come all odds shall be properly rewarded. Your opinions, comments and observations will be taken with all sense of seriousness and shall remain paramount in the course of the administration and will never be taken for granted. I therefore at this juncture crave your indulgence, Greatest FASSAites, Intellectualists, Men and women who will not lose their individuality in a crowd, Men and women who cannot be “bought” and who stand for what they want to help me actualize my “FASSAites oriented” goals by using your right of enfranchisement well, that is by voting me as your president.
