Peace. My heart a tremble in anticipation as i roll over the miles towards you, closer and closer.. Pulse quickening, BP rising all in wait for that moment when your arms reach up and encircle my neck and your hazel/rainbow eyes meet mine. 93 minutes, 1874 dashes on the highway 328 shrubberies in the median of the highway each a tick on the clock that brings me closer to you. Finally, I arrive to find you still at work. 46 paces on the sidewalk, 29 through the building and to your desk all for that single instant in time when you look up from your computer and glance into my eyes and your cheeks start to glow and rise into that characteristic smile i know oh so well. Many feelings I have experienced in life, but none such as the one that came over my heart and spirit each and every time I saw that face looking up at me. Simply Peace.
