Pearl is a special kitty. Not only is she a sweet, lovable cat, but she has a medical condition that makes her special. Pearl is FELV (feline leukemia) positive. At this point, her virus is not showing clinical signs, but with the virus she could become sick as she ages, or the virus may never become active. The Humane Society is looking for someone who might like to adopt and care for this kitty. This virus is contagious among cats, so she would need a home where other kitties dont reside. Shes being isolated at our facility and we are hoping that someone might give this girl an opportunity for a normal life in a home. She is current on her vaccines and is spayed.
