People of Humnabad in Bidar district took out a rally on Tuesday against Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi of Andhra Pradesh for allegedly trying to disrupt peace in the town. Submitting a memorandum to CM Siddaramaiah through the tahsildar, they demanded the arrest of Owaisi. The MLA’s supporters took out a ‘provocative’ bike rally disrupting peace in the town, they said. SP Thiyagarajan K told reporters that 13 people were arrested and eight motor bikes were seized in connection with Monday rally. He said a few more people would be arrested soon.
