“People’s Law School” classes has begun! All of these classes are taught by lawyers and they are free. They are held at: *Cohn School, 4805 Park Avenue in West Nashville on Thursday nights and *Wright Middle School, 180 McCall St. in Nashville on Monday nights You must sign up to attend. You can sign up 2 ways. You can call the Nashville Community Education Commission at (615) 298-8050, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Or you can sign up online at their website at Nashville.gov/ce Basic Estate Planning 1: Health Care and Power of Attorney legal documents A lawyer who practices estate planning will explain: why and how you may name someone to make your health care decisions when you are unable, what a Living Will can do, and why everyone needs a Durable Power of Attorney. This class is 1 hour. Thursday, October 30, 2014 6:00-7:00 PM Cohn School 110 Lawyer: Lea Johnson Basic Estate Planning 2: Wills and Probate A lawyer who practices estate planning will explain the basics about Wills and the Probate process in Tennessee. This class builds upon Basic Estate Planning, Class 1: Health Care and Power of Attorney Legal Documents, but You don’t have to take Class 1 before taking Class 2. This class is 1 hour.
