Perspective ! Putting in some long hours lately ... which requires me being a hermit, while Im working quietly in the room; Im often up till early hours of the morning. But I stay at it, leaving the room only to eat/shower etc, then back into it. Our household knows the reality. Right, so we have a whanaunga that comes here to the house everyday, sometimes a few times a day. He kicks it with my brother in law, and theyre doing their thing. Im never surprised to see him, the odd time that I leave the desk to go outside. But the other day, he was here a third time, and I started to laugh and said Back again cuz ? to which he replied I been all over town, while your just in bed all day ! Flip, all I could do was laugh. And then I thought ... well thats all about perspective. Its a fore gone conclusion to him, because he doesnt know what the inside of my room looks like, my mini library/office ... work charts all over the walls. And the only thing he obviously does when hes in his room, is go to bed. Every other minute of the day, hes at our house . Lol. Anyway, never turn a whanaunga away, thats one of our most basic principles ... but I better not hear down the road, that all Pare does is stay in bed all day, yes ... all a matter of Perspective. Lol
