Planning for Prairie Days 2014 is underway! We are in need of the following craft demonstrators: pottery, spinning, weaving, quilting, soap making and candle making. If you fit the bill contact us via email at lhopmuseumks@gmail. We need folks that can demonstrate 19th century crafting. You can sell your wares and keep all your profits. Also needed: fiddle players, square dancers and American Indian dancers/drummer (preferably Osage but Delaware, Cherokee, Creek, Seminole, Choctaw, Kaw and Pawnee are also welcome). Performers need to be able to share with our visitors their traditions and why they are important and relevant in our history!
