Please dont use flea collars on cats. They are not effective against fleas, they are dangerous to kittens and if a cat is caught on something by it they do not give. Please use spot on treatments and if you see live fleas use capstar. The super marker exelpet variety is just as good. I pop one into every incoming cat as they kill all live fleas. If you have a flea infestation there are a number if things you can do and I will put up a post soon. But please, please, please no flea collars and if you see a stray cat with one take it off.
