Please join KBOO to celebrate the historic 24th anniversary of Mandelas release from prison. We will be showing this incredible documentary about the vital role which music played in the South African struggle for freedom from Apartheid. Renowned artist and storyteller, Baba Wague Diakite, will be speaking on the power of music in Africa, with a screening of the film afterwards. A short trailer about KBOO made by PSU students will also be shown. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 7 pm, The Clinton Street Theater. Cost is suggested $5-10, with no one turned away for lack of funds.
