Please share I took two homeless mothers with 7 children between them (the kids were home, it was just myself and the two ladies) into Dunnes Stores on Georges street this evening. I spent €157.64 on fresh food for their families. I have never been so insulted in my life by the attitude of the manager in the store. When I asked for assistance this guy looked at me like I was scum, why? Because I was with two ladies who did nothing but shop like any of us. My crime to deserve such behaviour? I walked up with two baskets full of fresh food that will feed 7 children who would other wise be eating who knows what! Not because of bad parenting, because its all they can afford. I asked if there was somewhere I could leave the baskets as we wanted to shop some more. He ignored me and actually looked down his nose at me. Ive never experienced such behaviour directed at me before. Im a well spoken, well dressed man with impeccable manners. Shame on Dunnes Stores, shame.
