just thinkin, part 2... what if the slaves of american history had committed themselves to the theological disposition of priesthood, sisterhood, and brotherhood...?... that is to say, a commitment to the work and the better, but the slavers cant have our children, because we simply choose to not have children... that would be quite a different world indeed... no doubt, some do still make that choice, religious or not... what calls it to mind is recognizing the sense of what many social organizations do know the balance of, in and at, the social construct of ascriptive identity, being one of them... at what point we do know that the words black or white are so absurdly meaningless beyond what less and worse some make of them, particularly in light of the fact that the beauty of life is human, not colored... maybe someday enough folks would b willing and able to take that remnant to the grave with us, that it not be inherited by our young any further... the way some young folks cuts it up outchere, it may be the best option available, already... just thinkin
