You will be giving a life to a dog who will give back endless joy and I promise, you will never be sorry!! “Roux” (rhymes with BOO) is a French word for a thickener. Kind of a strange but cute name nonetheless, and after all, Roux IS a little thick around the middle. Roux is a mix of pointer and beagle and we declare her the perfect family dog. Roux is 6-years old now but she should have many years ahead of her. Her family decided that she grew too big at 58-pounds and that they didn’t have the space for her. Roux is crestfallen for lack of love. She is shy but very obviously willing to make new friends - she just wants to be sure before she gives her heart away for keeps. Roux is already spayed and microchipped. She doesn’t deserve to be put to death as planned tomorrow. You would think that we could find someone interested in a charming mix like Roux but no one has spoken for her yet. Please send a loving family Roux’ way right away.
