Pokémon Adventures: Orange Chapter 4: The Ruthless Organization, Team Rocket! Flame, Blake, and Kassandra were standing, staring straight up, at Mt.Moon. The mountain was tall enough to reach past the clouds, blocking the peak. “ Erm.. There is a path THROUGH.. and a path OVER....” Kassandra pouted as she trailed Blake. “ How about we just go over?” suggested Flame. Kassandra made that little, “ Psshh” sound with her lips. “ Ew, why do we have to walk OVER. I’ll get all dirty!” Blake had his Eevee on his shoulder, Flame had Elekid on his backpack, and Kassandra has Chikorita in her arms. Blake grunted, “ You don’t have to follow us. You can go through. “ Kassandra looked at the opening to the cave, and squealed. “ Eeeep! No, no! I’ll go with you guys!” Flame, Blake, and Kassandra continued up the rocky stairs leading up the side of the mountain. Elekid looked over at Eevee, because Blake was walking right next to Flame. He held his hand up, and Eevee, smiled, high-fiving Elekid. Blake grunted again. “ Ele, Elekid!” “ Eev, Eevee!” Behind them, Kassandra whined. “ It’s soooooo coooooooooollldd.. Blake.. maybe you should hold me... “ Blake kept walking, not even looking back. “ You’re out of your mind. “ She placed herself against Blake from behind. “ Piss off!” Blake walked faster, and Kassandra stumbled, almost falling on her face. Flame and Elekid chuckled lightly off to the side. “ Shut up!” Kassandra slugged Flame right in the arm. “ Ouch! Sorry.. “ Kassandra ran to catch up to Blake. “ She will never realize.. “ Elekid laughed, as Flame jogged up the path towards Blake and Kassandra. Right when Flame caught up to them, someone had grabbed Flame’s right arm and yanked him into a nearby bush. “ Hey! Wha-” A hand had clasped itself over Flame’s mouth. He looked around only to see Blake, and Kassandra crouched down. “ Shhh!” Blake hissed. They were both staring out into a large, circular plateau like land form on the side of the mountain. There were four, tall people, in black suits. Their gloves reached their elbows, and were white. They had a sort of, black beret on top of their head. The same goes for their boots, white. They had large, red “R”’s on the front of their outfits. Two of these men looked ordinary, no special features. But the other two, were taller, and more muscular. One was a woman. She had long, orange, curly hair, that ran down to about her neck. The man had short, cyan coloured hair. They were talking into some sort of walkie-talkie-like device. “ I’m sorry sir. No sir, we won’t let them get away again. Yes sir. We have word that they were coming up this path. Yes sir, we are in position, waiting for them. Yes sir. “ The woman had clipped the walkie-talkie to her side. “ They’re obviously looking for us.. “ Blake whispered. “ How do we get past them?” Flame murmured. “ Let’s just go...” Blake said, as he exited the bushes and walked over the opening. Flame and Kassandra followed. “ Hey! Stop! That’s them!” The woman cried. The two grunts grabbed Pokéballs from behind, and tossed them into the air. One released an Ekans, and the other, a Koffing. “ Ekansssss!” “ Koooooooffing.....” Blake quickly retrieved his Pokéball from his belt, and threw it in the air. “ Ok, Bulbasaur, Eevee, go!” Bulbasaur popped out of the Pokéball, and Eevee hopped off his shoulder. “ Flame, you and Kassandra go. I’ll handle these guys. “ Flame grabs one of the Pokéballs from behind as well. “ NO wa- Ooowww!” Just then, Kassandra grabbed Flame’s ear, and dragged him back. “ Let Blake handle this! Let’s go!” Kassandra yelled. Flame called after Blake as he was dragged down the mountainside. “ Blaaake! You better not loooooooosssee!” Blake turns back towards the 4 Team Rocket members. “I don’t plan on it. “ “ They’re getting away! Samuel, stop them!” The large, muscular member with Cyan hair ran after Flame and Kassandra. “ Flame can handle him. “ The two grunts stepped forward. “ Ekans, wrap!” “ Koffing, Tackle!” Bulbasaur and Eevee stood ready. “ Bulbasaur, Vinewhip, and hold them in place. “ Vines shot out from the seed on Bulbasaurs back, and wrapped around Koffing and Ekans. Both of the Pokémon pulled back. Bulbasaur dug it’s legs into the ground, trying to hold itself in place. “ Ok. Go, Arbok!” The woman called out, as she threw a Pokéball into the air. The red energy took the form of Arbok. “ Sss! Arbook!” Eevee growled. “ Ok, Eevee, Quick Attack on Arbok, Go!” Eevee charged Arbok, a silver stream of energy following behind it. “ Arbok, use Poison Fang!” Eevee had launched itself into the air to smash into Arbok. Arbok opening it’s jaw’s wide, as it’s teeth become engulfed by a purple-ish plasma like substance. It bites down on Eevee as she launches into the air. Her jaws clamp down around Eevee. “ Eeeeeeeevvv!” Blake’s jaw dropped. Eevee’s entire body glowed purple. “ Eevee, get out of there! Now!” “ Hahahahha! Arbok, don’t let go!” Blake looked at the ground, then up again, panic spreading across his face. “ What am I gonna do.. Eevee.. you HAVE to get out of there...! “ Bulbasaur struggled to keep both Ekans and Koffing in it’s grasp. He looked up at Blake. Bulbasaur gritted his teeth, and turned back towards Koffing and Ekans. “ Bulba.... Saaaauuur!” Bulbasaur’s whole body glowed white. It seemed to be morphing. The seed on it’s back sprouted, it’s muscles thickened, as did most of his body. Blake looked up, his jaw dropped to the floor once he saw what was happening. Bulbasaur was evolving. The white coating dissolved from Ivysaur’s body, and it looked back at Blake once again. He looked towards the two Pokémon he had in his grasp. The Team Rocket woman possessing Arbok gasped. Ivysaur mustered up some strength, and flung Ekans and Koffing into the air, “ Ivvyyy... saaaaaaauuurr!” Blake sat there, amazed that Bulbasaur would evolve just to protect him and Eevee. Blake didn’t realize it, but during the time he spent panicking, he had fallen to his knees. Blake stood up, confident now. “ Ok, Ivysaur, Razor Leaf! Hit every single Pokémon but Eevee!” Ivysaur bent it’s front legs down low, and shot upwards. Ton of razor sharp, curved leaves launched from the flower on Ivysaurs back. The leaves smacked into Koffing, Ekans, and Arbok. Arbok dropped Eevee to the ground. Ekans and Koffing landed with a large thud, and wound of being knocked out. The grunts recalled them, and the woman recalled Arbok. Ivysaur shot out vines, and wrapped them around Eevee, bringing her closer to Blake and him. “ We won’t forget you. Team Rocket will be victorious!” With that note, the grunts ran down the opposite side of the mountain, from which Blake, Flame, and Kassandra had come up. “ Hold on Eve, we’re going to get you healed. I promise, just hold on!” Flame and Kassandra were hustling down the path towards Route 4. Behind them, they heard, “ Medicham, Focus Blast!” A blue orb flew past them, and hit the path in front of them. It exploded, kicking up dust and dirt. Both of them stopped running. They turned around to see a Medicham, and the large, muscular Team Rocket major with cyan hair behind them. “ You’re mine!” He bellowed. Flame looked back at Kassandra. “ Elekid, you know the way to Cerulean City, right?” Elekid nodded. “ Ok, Go with Kassandra. Take her there. “ Elekid shook his head no. “ Ele, Elek-” “ Elekid, please. Take Kassandra there. And protect her. I promise I’ll be right behind you. “ Elekid hugged Flame, and hopped off his shoulder. Elekid and Kassandra took off down the path. Flame turned back around, and grabbed Piplup’s Pokéball from behind. He threw it out. The crimson energy formed into Piplup. “Piiip!” “ Really? You think you can beat my Medicham with a PIPLUP? Ha! No chance! I’ll wipe you out and take that girl, AND her Chikorita! Medicham, Force Palm!” Medicham ran towards Piplup, It’s palm glowing blue. “ Piplup, dodge it and use Peck!” Piplup’s beak glew white. Medicham slammed it’s palm downwards at Piplup. Piplup moved in close to Medicham, and jabbing it’s power-filled beak into Medicham’s gut. Medicham’s eyes widened, as it was sent flying back towards Samuel. “ What!? Grrr.. Your Piplup is fast.. but my Medicham is stronger!’ Medicham stood up, holding it’s stomach. “Okay Medicham, Focus Blast!” Medicham put it’s palms together, and slowly pulled them apart. When it did, a blue orb of energy formed in between. It forced it’s palms out, and the blue orb soared through the air. “ Piplup! Dodge it!” Piplup moved out of the way, and the orb hit the ground infront of Flame. The explosion sent Flame flying down the path, landing on his back. “ Aaaagggh!” Piplup looked at Flame, tears swelling in her eyes. She looks back at Medicham, wiping her eyes. “ Pip... Luuuuuppppp!” Piplup’s whole body glows white/silver, as she starts to grow taller, thicker, and stronger. Piplup evolved into a Prinplup. “ Prinpluuuuuuup!” Flame sat up, and looked at Prinplup. “ What..? Piplup evolved...? Wow....” Prinplup looked back at Flame, and winked. Flame reached into his pocket, and pulled out his Pokédex. He pointed it at Prinplup. The Pokédex read in it’s robotic voice, “ Prinplup, the Penguin Pokémon, and the evolved form of, Piplup. A strike of it’s wings can be harmful, as it searches the oceans for prey. “ “ Wow... Alrighty.. it seems like you also have a new move!” Flame closed his Pokédex, and stuffed it back into his pocket. Flame pulled himself to his feet. “ Ok, Prinplup! Metal Claw, Go!” Both of Prinlpup’s fins shined over, and had acquired a metallic look. “ Ok! Medicham, Focus Blast!” Medicham followed the same moves as earlier, and launched another blue orb at Prinplup. “ Block it, and continue with Metal Claw!” Prinplup knocked the blue orb away with it’s left fin, and slammed it’s right fin into Medicham. Medicham flew across the path, and hit Samuel. Both of them tumbled down the hill. Flame ran towards Prinplup. “ That was amazing!” “ Prin, Prinpluuup!” “ You did great. “ Flame bent down, and hugged Prinplup tightly. “You take a good rest. We have to catch up to Kassandra and Ele. “ Flame returned Piplup to her Pokéball. When Flame stood up, Blake came barreling down the path, holding Eevee. Her eyes were closed, and sweat ran down her face. “ Flame c’mon! We have to get to a Pokémon center!” Flame ran after Blake, both of them heading towards the Pokémon center..
