Police Working To Identify Child Following Potential Attempted Abduction In Arley Warwickshire Police are working to identify a boy following a suspicious incident in the Arley area near Coventry. The incident occurred today (18th December) at approximately 9am on George Street in the Gun Hill area when two young children reported seeing a schoolboy approached by a man, believed to be wearing all black and a black mask. It is being treated as a potential abduction and police are urging anybody who may have witnessed the incident or who can identify the child to get in touch as soon as possible. The boy has been described as approximately 11 years old, or secondary school aged, wearing a black uniform with a red and black tie. After being approached by the man he ran from the area, and was followed by the man. The children who reported the incident took the correct steps and alerted this incident to their mother who then rang police. The two children are being spoken to by specially trained officers as they work to ascertain the full details of what happened. Officers are making urgent enquiries with local schools to identify the boy and a thorough search of the area is underway.
