Police appeal following brawl – Fairfield Police are appealing for information after a brawl at Fairfield left a man with head and facial injuries this morning. About 3am (Saturday 5 April 2014), police were called to the car park of a fast food restaurant on Court Street following reports a group of men were brawling. Upon police arrival, participants dispersed from the area and officers established a crime scene. Police have been told a group of 10 to 15 men were striking each other with chairs and other objects after a dispute. A 32-year-old man was knocked unconscious during the incident and taken to Liverpool Hospital with lacerations to his head and facial fractures. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. A few hours after the brawl, police arrested three men near the car park. They were taken to Fairfield Police Station, where they are currently assisting officers with their inquiries. Inquiries into the incident continue.
