Policeman killed in Handwara Forests Mujahids killed a policeman when he had gone with his wife to a nearby forest for collecting firewood in Handwara. Today morning, Head Constable Sonaullah Zargar son of Abdul Gani resident of Hardoona, Vilgam had gone to a nearby forest area of Hangalpora alongwith his wife for collection of firewood. The duo were intercepted by some unknown mujahids in the forest. Sonnaullah was killed by the mujahids in a gruesome manner. Police has reached the spot and the area has been cordoned off. The body of the deceased Head Constable was handed over to his relatives for last rites, a police spokesman told a statement. Handwara police has started the investigation in this regard. The deceased policeman is survived by his wife and four children including a girl.
