Poor Frankie was feeling the cold lately so while laid up today I thought hey why dont I knit him a little body warmer wont take long right? Feckin hell now I know why I dont knit too often, I had no pattern so was just making it up as I went along and what I thought would be easy (knitting with sock needles) turned out to be a curse! My joints in my hands were already screaming No dont do it before I had even cast on the stitches but not one to heed advice I forged ahead, hours later I still refused to listen and kept thinking Ill just do this last bit until ...... I finished it!! Its a bit short and Id like to say I will do the next one longer but alas thats the end of my knitting spree for a while! On reflection had I decided to run him up a little jacket on the sewing machine I could have done it in an hour but sure Im pleased with it now and I feel like I accomplished something!! And best of all Frankie likes it!! Hairy Hugs! Belx
