Position - Intermediate - Electrical Heat Tracing Designer Location Calgary Job Requirements: Review and coordinate electrical 3D model with other disciplines. Preparing general equipment and plant layout for electrical heat tracing (EHT) distribution panels, controllers, transformers and field marshalling junction boxes. Providing complete electrical heat tracing design for pipe freeze protection application using mineral insulated and self-regulating cables, tube bundles ambient control and buffered design. Utilizing piping isometrics, line designation tables, P&IDs for electrical heat trace design information and determine best location of power points and RTDs. Utilizing piping isometrics, line designation tables, P&IDs and using CompuTrace for electrical heat trace calculations and VisiTrace 3D to generate electrical heat tracing isometric zone drawings. Preparing complete EHT packages, schematic diagrams, panel and cable schedules. Coordinate with other discipline teams to resolve design issues. Preparing EHT Distribution and Loading information for electrical Keep track of hours spent per task including EHT ISO’s Attend meetings as required Prepare update reports when required
