Posted on First Church Military Ministry : HALLELUJAH, PRAISE YOU JESUS, THANK YOU LORD. UPDATE PRAISE REPORT: Are you ready? CRYING, SHOUTING AND DOWN ON MY KNEES. The Drs have confirmed Michael has come out of the coma!!!!!! Thank you Jesus!!! Michael is doing ok today. He no longer has the trach in. He pulled it out himself yesterday and they left it out. He is sustaining his breathing ok on his own. He has oxygen feed near his nose to insure he maintains his breathing as the trach hole begins to close. His speech therapist said that he was awake and aware during his rehab session. We pray he continues and believe he will. Our Michael is fighting his way back as testimony of him pulling out the trach. He always did things on his terms, so it is not a surprise he pulled out his trach. They continue to give him fish oil which can contribute to help with repairing brain injury. We are so thankful to you all for your prayers, support and love. God Bless Another update Oh Nancy, when my brother called I started to cry, laugh, SHOUT and dance all at the same time. My brother said that he can follow people with his eyes and he follows commands, he responds to questions with blink of his eyes. They are going to step up the rehab now.
